Site work for a transportation facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade transportation facility; one-story above grade transportation facility; and one-story above grade transportation facility.

The work consists of furnishing materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of the following phases: - Phase I: Construction of approximately 166 linear feet at CT-J (East) of a new anti-climb security-grade perimeter fence to replace an existing chain-link security fence and approximately 64 linear feet at CT-J of new anti-climb security-grade gates to replace the existing chain-link gates. The purpose of this new fence is to better deter and delay potential threats compared with commercial-grade chain-link fencing. - Phase II: Construction of approximately 32 linear feet at CT-C (West) and 105 linear feet at CT-C (East) for a total of 137 linear feet of a new anti-climb security-grade perimeter fence to replace an existing chain-link security fence. Includes approximately 40 linear feet at CT-C (East) of new anti-climb security-grade gates to replace an existing chain-link gate, and two pedestrian gates, each 3 feet wide, at CT-C (West) of new anti-climb security-grade gates. - Phase III: Construction of approximately 341 linear feet at CT-V and 17 linear feet at CT-J (West), for a total of 313 linear feet of new anti-climb security-grade perimeter fence to replace an existing chain-link security fence, and approximately 18 linear feet at CT-J (West) of new anti-climb security-grade gates to replace the existing chain-link gates. The purpose is to better deter and delay potential threats as compared with commercial-grade chain-link fencing. The bidder and/or key personnel must have successfully completed the construction and/or rehabilitation of a minimum of three (3) anti-climb robust security fence projects within the last ten (10) years and one (1) project within the last five (5) years. Bidders and all subcontractors must hold a valid, current, and active State and/or Miami-Dade County contractor’s license consistent with the requirements of the scope of work. Instructions to bidders include attending a mandatory pre-bid conference and submitting requests for information in writing. Bids must be submitted in a labeled and sealed envelope with all required documents. There are additional insurance requirements due to the specialized marine work performed.
