Bids shall be submitted for a single contract that will include the replacement of ice plant chiller equipment. Bids for all work including General, Ice Systems, Plumbing, Heating/Air Conditioning, Ventilating, and Electrical will be received. Bids must be submitted on copies of the bid form in the specifications and must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder’s bond in the sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid and a copy of the Contractor’s license or Certificate of Renewal thereof issued by the Secretary of State. Bid proposals must be in a separate envelope that clearly identifies the bidder's name, project name, and the Owner’s name on the outside. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond in the full amount of their contract. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality in which the work is performed for each craft or type of workers or mechanic needed to execute the contract must adhere to all federal laws and laws of the state, and to all local ordinances and regulations applicable to the work. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the opening of bids without written consent of the Owner. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and licenses and any deficient bid will be resealed and returned to the bidder immediately. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions. Site visits shall be coordinated with The Park District of the City of Fargo through IMEG Corp.
