Site work and new construction of a hospitality development in Fargo, North Dakota. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade hospitality development; and for site work for a hospitality development.

The Municipal Airport Authority of the City of Fargo is seeking to award a long-term lease for the development of a hotel concept located adjacent to the passenger terminal complex at Hector International Airport. The construction and financing of this project is to be done by a developer. A two-part process will be implemented to select a developer, starting with a qualification phase. Interested parties must submit a Statement of Interest and Qualifications (SOIQ) containing both qualifications and a preliminary development concept. The MAA will use these preliminary development concepts to determine the highest and best use of the hotel site. All developers whose SOIQs are accepted, who meet the minimum qualifications, and who provide preliminary development concepts will be deemed "qualified developers" and may participate in a Request for Proposal process if necessary. Recommendations will be reviewed and approved by the full Authority. SOIQs must be delivered to the Municipal Airport Authority's office at Hector International Airport. As of March 5, 2026, per owner, the Airport IS NOT building the hotel. They are leasing land to the developer. They have just started to work with U.S. Hotel and Resort Management Inc. from Sioux Falls, SD. Architect, engineer and contractor information is unknown by them. The Airport will not be involved in the selection of their contractor. They hope construction can begin in the spring of 2027.
