Conewago Township will receive sealed bids online for the Public Works Building and Rooftop Solar Project. Separate bids will be received for the following contracts: Contract No. 2025-01 (Building Construction) includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the design and construction of a pole building; Contract No. 2025-02 (Solar/Electrical Construction) includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the design and construction of a roof-mounted solar energy electrical power generation system and associated electrical work. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of ten percent of the total bid is required, issued by a surety licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Only questions submitted online via PennBID will be considered. Bids shall remain open for 60 days from the date of Bid opening and may not be withdrawn during this period. All Bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. The successful Bidder must furnish a warranty bond in the amount of ten percent and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. This contract is subject to the following: the PA Prevailing Wage Act, Architectural Barriers Act of 1968, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, PA Act 235 of 1965 as amended, Universal Accessibility Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 as amended, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA), Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002, Pennsylvania One Call Act (Underground Utility Line Protection Law), Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 (non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance), requirement of a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
