Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the expansion of the existing 250-gallon-per-minute (gpm) buried packaged pumping station to a 400-gpm submersible sewage pumping station. The work includes installation of approximately 1,640 linear feet of 6-inch sewage force main in parallel with the existing 4-inch force main, and installation of approximately 255 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main. Additional work includes installation of an owner-procured package pump station and control system, a new channel grinder, an 8-foot by 8-foot precast wet well, temporary electrical connections, a new electrical service entrance, modifications to the existing generator building, precast manhole structures and yard piping, site paving, fencing, grading, demolition of all existing pumping station facilities, and maintenance of sanitary sewer flows throughout construction. Two separate contracts will be issued for the project: General Construction and Electrical Construction. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any bid.
