This project consists of asphalt road maintenance at Wapsipinicon State Park. Proposal Guarantee: $50,000.00 Completion Date: 8/14/2026 Bidders must comply with all public improvement procurement laws, including Iowa Code chapters 26, 73, 573, relevant rules by the Department of Administrative Services, Department of Natural Resources, and Natural Resources Commission, and any applicable federal statutes, rules, or executive orders. Bidders are encouraged to be familiar with public improvement procurement requirements and the bidding documents before submitting a bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security as defined in Iowa code section 26.8. Copies of the bid security are accepted for electronic submissions, but the apparent lowest responsible, responsive bidder must mail the original security within five business days of the bid letting date. The bid security must be in the amount set forth in the bidding documents and made payable to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Failure to execute a contract for the proposed work and file an acceptable Performance Bond (equal to 100% of the contract price) and a certificate of liability insurance within thirty days of the award may result in rescinding the award and forfeiture of the bid security.
