Demolition and renovation of a military facility in New Castle, Delaware. Working plans call for the renovation of a 48,500-square-foot military facility; and for the demolition of a military facility.
As of 1/12/2026 the project has been cancelled The work is divided between a Base Bid and three Additive Alternates. The Base Bid generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to renovate Hangar 1 from aircraft storage to vehicle storage, and demolition of the existing office addition. Site work includes exterior trench drain, stormwater infrastructure and mitigation, paving and marking, and the construction of a fuel facility. Additive Alternate No. 1 includes the installation of an oil-water separation system in Hangar 2. Additive Alternate No. 2 includes the demolition of a single-story addition at the southwest corner of Hangar 2. Additive Alternate No. 3 includes epoxy floor coating of Hangar 2. Question Deadline 11/25/2025 Any questions, clarifications, or requests for revisions to the Contract Documents must be forwarded to the Authority in writing via CapEx no later than six (6) business days prior to the bid opening date and time
