Site work for a water / sewer project in Knox, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project involves the construction of the City of Knox U.S. 35 Jack and Bore in Starke County, Indiana. The work includes all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, and anything incidental to or required for the construction of the facilities. Bids must be properly completed and include all necessary documentation, including bonds and financial statements. Bidders are responsible for site inspection and familiarization with contract documents and specifications. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond of at least 5% of the total highest bid, and performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price will be required upon contract execution. The project is awarded to the low, responsive, and responsible bidder. All applicable laws and regulations apply, and bidders must comply with affirmative action requirements and provide required documentation to verify qualification and ability to perform the work. The work to be performed and the bid to be submitted shall include sufficient and proper sums for all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, and so forth incidental to and required for the construction ofthe facilities.
