Invitations are extended to qualified Bidders to submit bids for the Stiles Road Pump Station Upgrade Project. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked for the project, addressed to the Purchasing Department at Warren Town Hall. All bids must be on the forms provided in the Bid Packet. Bid proposals and required documents must be completed and submitted by the specified date. A certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Township of Warren must be submitted with each bid as Bid Security, in the amount of ten percent of the total bid or $20,000.00, whichever is lower. Prospective bidders must file any challenges to bid specifications with the contracting agent at least three business days prior to bid opening. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive immaterial informalities, or accept any bid deemed in the best interest of the Township. The selected bidder shall enter into the contract within three days of award. Compliance with all relevant State and Federal requirements, including affirmative action, prevailing wage, public works registration, and business registration, is mandatory. In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for the opening ofthe bids The Work required under the Contract shall consist of, but is not limited to, mobilization to the site, decommissioning the existing 300 kW indoor natural gas generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS), installation of a new 500 kW indoor natural gas generator, 800A ATS, 800A generator Camlok panel, gas piping, exhaust fan, louvers, room renovation, and minor roof work associated with the generator replacement, startup, testing and troubleshooting. The new generator shall be US EPA certified with a 5- year manufacturer warranty. The Stiles Road Wastewater Treatment Plant shall remain frilly functional during all work performed with the exception of switching over from the existing generator to the new generator, while contractor shall provide temporary power to the building lights, fire alarm panel, and three 14 HP pumps. The existing generator, including the radiator, air intake louvers, and silencer, are to be turned over to the Owner (Warren) upon removal at the project site. Storage location shall be coordinated with the Owner. The existing generator shall be removed as one piece I single package and undamaged. Any damage during removal shall be the responsibility ofthe Contractor to repair
