Electrical contract to Appellation Construction Services - $2,597,758.00 The Total Sum of awarded amount is: $18,684,626 ****************************************** The work includes the construction of two new hangar facilities on the West Apron of the airport: GLPI Hangar (approximately 26,000 SF) and KRDG Hangar (approximately 15,000 SF). Bids will be received for four prime contracts: General Construction, HVAC Construction, Plumbing/Fire Protection Construction, and Electrical Construction. Bids must be prepared and submitted on prescribed forms in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Divisions 00 and 01 of the Project Manual. Each bid must include a bid security equal to at least 10% of the Base Bid, in the form and subject to the conditions given in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 120 days after opening. Successful bidders must enter into the Agreement and furnish the Contract Bonds and required insurance within fifteen days after notification of acceptance. Wages as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall be used. All work is subject to the regulations of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act. The project has a 4.7% goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), and proposals must include the percentage involvement of DBE firms with names and completed certification. Certification as a DBE by the PA UCP is required, and verification should be done via the PA UCP website. The RRAA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities.
