Site work for a water / sewer project in Gadsden, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Rehabilitation of approximately 15,545 linear feet of sanitary sewer main ranging in size from 6" to 15". Also includes rehabilitation/replacement of sanitary sewer manholes, service laterals, cleanouts and associated appurtenances. Bids must be submitted by properly licensed contractors. Contractors must carry the MU classification as listed in the latest edition of the Roster of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama. All nonresident contractors must submit evidence of proper registration with the Alabama Secretary of State as a foreign corporation, and a Certificate of Good Standing as a Foreign Corporation from the State of Alabama Department of Revenue. In awarding contracts, preference is given to resident contractors according to Alabama law. Partial sets of bidding documents will not be issued, and bidders are responsible for obtaining documents only from the issuing agent.
