Site work for a pipeline in Fairhope, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
Furnish all labor and materials, and perform all work required to extend a 2" high-pressure gas main via directional drilling on the south side of County Road 32. The project involves approximately 6,000 feet of 2" Steel Double (.280 Wall) Dual Coating pipeline. The contractor is responsible for providing all materials, personnel, tools, equipment, pipe, welders, tap/stops, CWI, pipe size and wall thickness verification methods, soil/hole stabilization, erosion control (temporary and permanent), trench boxes, connections, taps, sod/hay, restoration, and all necessary permitting. Bidders must submit sealed bids using the provided forms, properly labeled envelopes, and comply with all outlined regulations and requirements. Failure to follow instructions may result in bid rejection. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any portion of the bids and to make changes in the contract as deemed in its best interest. Bidders must be properly qualified and licensed according to applicable Alabama laws and City ordinances. Non-resident corporations must show qualification with the State Secretary. A current business license with the City of Fairhope must be held or purchased prior to work. No bids may be withdrawn for thirty days after opening without the City's consent.
