Furnishing all equipment, labor, and miscellaneous items for the construction and installation of approximately 14,055 linear feet of 10-inch and smaller diameter water main, valves, fire hydrants, leak meter settings, customer services, customer reconnections, trench repair, shoulder stone placement, pipe bedding, and other related appurtenances as outlined in the plans and specifications. The owner will provide all pipe, fittings, and other waterline materials. The contractor is to provide labor and equipment for construction, installation, and restoration. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 entitled "Equal Employment Opportunity" as amended, prohibiting discrimination in employment. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety days after bid opening. Contractors must have the necessary license and comply with the applicable statutes and the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act; all subcontractors must comply as well. A Contractor's License Number must be included on the bid submission. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
