Renovation of a residential development in North Waltham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

The Project Consists of but Not Limited to: The Carey Court Elderly Development (667-1) is Comprised Of Two- Two Story Buildings in 1956. The Buildings Contain 24 Small Units. Kitchens in These Units Are in Need Of an Upgrade of Finishes and Other Components. The Hammond Street Special Needs Housing is a Two-story Congregate Facility Built in 1987. The Buildings Contains Two Kitchens and Four Baths. The Two Kitchens and Baths Will Be Included in Phase 1 and Need Full and Complete Renovation. The scope of work includes the full replacement of all kitchens, including all countertops, cabinets, and finishes. Refrigerators and stoves will be salvaged, electrical and lighting systems will be upgraded, new floor finishes will be provided and ventilation will be upgraded as required. The bathroom renovations include the replacement of all fixtures, tub to shower conversions, new tub/shower surrounds, electrical/lighting upgrades, new floor finishes, and ventilation will be upgraded as required. The WALTHAM HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the ARPA FF: Kitchen Bath Modernization Phase 1 at State Aided Development: Hammond Street (689-2)146 - 148 Hammond Street, Waltham, MA 02451 Carey Court (667-1) 269 - 279 School Street, Waltham, MA 02451 in accordance with the documents prepared by STUDIO UMBRA LLC Question Deadline 12/03/2025 at 1:00 PM ET All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates. Request for waivers must be sent to EOHLC (Chad.Howard@mass.gov) 5 calendar days prior to the General Bid date. NO WAIVERS WILL BE GRANTED AFTER THE GENERAL BIDS ARE OPENED. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the WALTHAM HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000.
