The Project Consists of but Not Limited to: The Carey Court Elderly Development (667-1) is Comprised Of Two- Two Story Buildings in 1956. The Buildings Contain 24 Small Units. Kitchens in These Units Are in Need Of an Upgrade of Finishes and Other Components. The Hammond Street Special Needs Housing is a Two-story Congregate Facility Built in 1987. The Buildings Contains Two Kitchens and Four Baths. The Two Kitchens and Baths Will Be Included in Phase 1 and Need Full and Complete Renovation. The scope of work includes the full replacement of all kitchens, including all countertops, cabinets, and finishes. Refrigerators and stoves will be salvaged, electrical and lighting systems will be upgraded, new floor finishes will be provided and ventilation will be upgraded as required. The bathroom renovations include the replacement of all fixtures, tub to shower conversions, new tub/shower surrounds, electrical/lighting upgrades, new floor finishes, and ventilation will be upgraded as required. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 13% of the final contract price including accepted alternates.
