The project is for labor for the construction of the electric primary feeder system for the Pure Flavor Greenhouse expansion project located in Fort Valley, Georgia. The system will be a 25KV primary system, consisting of both overhead and underground primary lines, as well as transformers and switch-gear. The Fort Valley Utility Commission will supply all materials for the project; bids should be for labor only. Only experienced and licensed contractors engaged in similar work are eligible to bid. The contract period for completing all associated work is 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. Instructions to bidders require sealed bids to be clearly marked and submitted to the Fort Valley Utility Commission Electric Department. A mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled. Upon successful bid notification, the contractor must provide proof of insurance and a 5% bond. Before contract execution, a Contract Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount, must be provided by a qualified surety company. This project involves a mixture of overhead primary lines and underground primary lines along with transformers and switchgears. o Project is located at 9465 Miami Valley Fort Valley Georgia 31030. Consists of setting three Ductile Iron poles: 50/H9 approx. 4,970 lbs each. o Install twenty-two, 45/2 wood poles. o Install 6in Sch40 PVC combined length of approx. 2500ft. o Install approx. 2500 feet combined length of 1000mcm 3 phase primary cable. o Install 24 1000mcm T-Bodies. o Install 7 Gang operated RLB switches. o Install 1 PME-10 Switch Cabinet. o Install 18 1000mcm Terminators. o Install 336 ACSR combined length of approx. 20,000 feet. o Install 70 336 Perform top ties. o Install approx. 3,000 feet combined length of 1/0 25kv cable. o Install approx. 2,000 feet combined length of 4/0 25kv cable. o Install 4 -25KV 3000KVA Transformers 277/480. o Install 1000mcm feeder from substation to metering cubicle. o Change out existing PME-10 to metering cubicles. o Install two new metering cubicles on top of existing vault. o Conduits will be Stubbed outside the substation fence by MEAG Power. o The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the phasing of all tie points.
