The general scope of work is the installation of a single axis solar tracker system with string inverters, with modules and inverters furnished by the owner and installed by the contractor. Three separate systems will connect to the wellness center, hospital, and assisted living buildings. The project is divided into five separate bid packages, all of which must be bid as a full package: - Bid Package #1: Hospital Array, including all electrical work, grading, and seeding. Grading and seeding should cover the area around modules and equipment for the hospital. - Bid Package #2: Assisted Living Array, including all electrical work, grading, and seeding. Grading and seeding should cover the area around modules and equipment for assisted living. - Bid Package #3: Wellness Center Array, including all electrical work, grading, and seeding. Grading and seeding should cover the area around modules and equipment for the wellness center. - Bid Package #4: Perimeter fence and gates. - Bid Package #5: Trees. Each bidder must submit bids with a bid security amounting to 5% of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish a corporate surety bond for 100% of the contract amount. Out-of-state bidders shall be prepared to submit an Out-of-State Contractor Bond to the Iowa Division of Labor. Bids shall not include sales tax. Preference will be given to products and labor from Iowa where required by law. The owner may waive informalities or reject any and all bids.
