Renovation of a municipal facility in Hampton, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors are accepting bids for replacement of the roof on the GAR Memorial Hall located at 3 North Federal Street, Hampton, Iowa. The work includes removal of existing shingles and replacement with DECRA Cobblestone Shingle XD package in Old Hickory, and removal and replacement of gutters and downspouts. The existing rubber roof is not included in the replacement. All bidders must have a valid Iowa Contractor's license, commercial/contractors liability insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. Workmanship must be warranted for one year, with a materials warranty as per manufacturers' specifications. Work must be completed no later than September 30, 2026. Bids must include all labor and materials. Proof of current contractors' liability and workers compensation insurance is required with the bid. The Franklin County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to refuse any or all bids.
