Bids are invited for furnishing chemicals as specified. The prices quoted must be firm for the contract period with no exceptions, including escalation charges, fuel surcharges, or delivery charges. Chemicals may be required at multiple locations and delivery may be split between areas at the Authority’s request. The vendor is responsible for loading chemicals into storage or usage locations and for the return of all containers and pallets. Spillage or overflow must be cleaned and properly disposed of by the vendor. Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, arranged at least one hour prior, and comply with all storage requirements. All quotations must be for specified container sizes and delivered to the specified location. Deliveries must be prompt, not to exceed seven calendar days after receipt of order. Bids must include safety data sheets, meet AWWA standards, and comply with all specifications. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award contracts in its best interest. All bids must be submitted electronically via PennBid by the specified deadline; late bids will not be accepted. No alterations to terms, conditions, pricing, or specifications will be effective without written consent. All goods are subject to approval, and nonconforming goods will be at the vendor’s risk and expense. The vendor shall indemnify the Authority against claims arising from the goods and must bear all risks prior to delivery.
