City of Lynn Haven is requesting bids for the construction of approximately 947 linear feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk on the east side of Minnesota Avenue (between East 12th Street and East 14th Street), including the addition of pedestrian safety features, extension of the existing drainage pipe with a headwall, and replacing existing driveways. Pedestrian safety features and other appurtenant works are as shown on the bid plans. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Sealed Bid – City of Lynn Haven – 1200-1300 MINNESOTA AVENUE SIDEWALK” and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check in the amount of 5% of the bid. The City of Lynn Haven reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as well as contractors who do not meet the minimum required standards. All bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening, including material prices. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes.
