The New Bedford Housing Authority (NBHA), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from qualified Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) certified HVAC (HV01) contractors to provide on-call HEATING SYSTEM work (NBHA-25-120). The work consists of on-call, routine, and emergency HEATING SYSTEM response and repair work at the various State aided (DHCD) and Federally funded (HUD) public housing developments owned and operated by the NBHA in New Bedford, Massachusetts in accordance with the contract documents. The work under this contract shall be performed on an as needed basis. The term of the contract is for one year. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Unexpected Closures: If at the advertised time scheduled for the bid opening the New Bedford Housing Authority Procurement Office is closed due to uncontrolled events such as fire, snow, ice, wind or building evacuation The NBHA reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in any or all bids, or to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, if it be in the public interest to do so. bid opening will be postponed until 10:00 a.m. on the next regularly scheduled business day.
