Soliciting sealed bids for the repairs to the walls, gates and misc. metal works at the Cedarville and Old Town Burying Grounds as per the plans and specifications. The locations are 3 Ploughed Neck Rd., East Sandwich, MA 02563 for Cedarville and Grove St., Sandwich, MA 02563 for Old Town Burying Grounds. In the event of an emergency prohibiting the bid opening on the listed date, such as a storm or other unforeseen emergency that results in the Municipal Building being closed the bids shall be opened the next business day. Bids received after the deadline shall be rejected. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Cert. and Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Town Manager 100 Route 6A, Sandwich, MA 02563, and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Question Deadline 11/24/2025 Location and Work to be Done The Work consists of Project to Rehabilitate and Restore cast iron fencing at the Cedarville Burying Ground in East Sandwich and cast iron gates at the Old Town Burying Ground on Grove Street in Sandwich. Some replication of missing or severely damaged fencing and/or gate components is required. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner, and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
