Site work for a civil project in Cabin Creek, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Kanawha Public Service District is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide engineering study, design and construction management services for project(s) intended to improve capacity and extend the useful life of existing wastewater treatment plants as well as various other wastewater projects intended to reduce inflow and infiltration, rehabilitate, and/or extend the useful life of the PSD's existing sanitary sewer collection system. The selected consultant will be required to (1) complete studies necessary to understand current conditions (2) prepare preliminary engineering reports and facilities plans acceptable to state funding agencies, (3) design and prepare construction drawings, bid specifications and bid documents, (4) assist the PSD in procurement of construction contracts, (5) monitor and inspect construction activities to insure compliance with plans and specifications, (6) review and approve contractor's pay estimates and (7) any other services needed by the District for successful implementation of the project(s). The selected firm shall be retained throughout all phases of the project(s). All consultants interested in being considered must submit a statement interest detailing qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities and related prior experience. This competitive selection process, compliant with West Virginia Code chapter 5G, is designed to objectively select the consultant who will provide the highest quality of service at a realistic fee. Accordingly, technical qualifications and experience will be weighed heavily.
