Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Washington Union High School Student Services in accordance with the Contract Documents, including drawings and specifications. Bids will be evaluated based on the base bid amount. The project duration is three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days, with liquidated damages for delay. All work is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, and contractors must be registered under Labor Code section 1725.5 for public works. Bids must be sealed and submitted to the specified District Office address by the deadline. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held, and non-attendees will be disqualified. Each bid must include a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the base bid.
