The project is to modernize the nurse's suite at the Administration building of Wawona Middle School. The scope consists of, but is not limited to, the relocation of non-bearing interior walls, reconfiguration of interior cabinetry, and updates including mechanical, lighting, fire alarm, doors, interior finishes, and installation of a new water heater. A Prime Contractor with a valid Class "B" Contractor's License is required. The project must be completed within 90 calendar days. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required on site for all Prime Contractors intending to submit a bid. Contractors must attend to be considered responsive, and a mandatory site walk will follow. All site visitors must check in with a government-issued ID or driver's license to receive a badge. Bids must be submitted through the district's online bidding portal and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the bid total, made payable to Fresno Unified. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or combinations thereof and to waive any legally waivable irregularities or informalities.
