Bid proposals are requested for the purchase and replacement of water meters, meter reading devices, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system components, meter resetters, and related installation services. Bid proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes, properly marked with the bid name and project details. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms as required by the specifications and must include a Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, with specified limits. A Consent of Surety from an approved Surety Company must also be submitted. Failure to include a Consent of Surety will lead to automatic rejection of the bid. Bidders must be registered with the State and provide proof of registration, and must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive immaterial information.
