This project involves resurfacing various streets within Council Districts 3 and 4 in the City of Toledo by removing the existing wearing course, paving new asphalt, performing necessary pavement repairs, adjusting structures, and replacing sidewalk handicap ramps. Bidding instructions specify that bids must be submitted via the City of Toledo's PlanetBids portal. Bidders must upload the following to be considered responsive: Construction Project Paperwork, Line Items, Bid Guaranty (bid bond or certified check/cashier's check on a solvent bank), Signed Contract by the Vendor, Child Support Affidavit, Bureau of Worker's Compensation Certificate, Tax Exemption Certificate, and Insurance Certificate naming the City of Toledo as an additional insurer. The bid guaranty can be in the form of a cashier's check, official check, or bid bond, and must meet the requirements listed on the "Bid Information" tab on PlanetBids. Company and personal checks are not accepted. If a check is used, it must be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies by the due date and scanned and uploaded with the e-bid.
