Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work for improvements of the ventilation system (ductwork, equipment, louvers, gas detection and alarm, and appurtenances), includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; cutting and patching; associated incidental electrical; start-up; and restoration. Award is planned for January 21, 2026 with construction notice to proceed planned for late February 2026 pending contract execution. Mechanical hvac construction. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty. A performance bond and labor and materials bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a maintenance bond in the amount of 25% is required. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for the employment are not discriminated against because of their, race, color, religious creed, ancestry ,age, sex, national origin, physical or mental disability, or because of a person's sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of Friday, December 5,2025 - Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the "Messages" feature in online. The board of commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to the best interest of the township.
