Renovation of a fire / police facility in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The work includes, but is not limited to, selective concrete repairs at the exterior apron, along with replacement and upgrade of the interior trench drain system with associated concrete floor replacement in the engine room. Sealed proposals shall be submitted online via the PennBid Program. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required, as well as a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25%. Bidders may obtain electronic copies of drawings and specifications of this project at no cost on the PennBid website. All interested bidders may view the project area by coordinating access inside the building. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the “Messages” feature in PennBid. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project, and the contractor must ensure equal opportunity regarding employment. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to the best interest of the Township.
