Perform vegetation removal, including mowing and trimming along both sides of the road, to the edge of the clear zone or edge of right of way, whichever is less, and vertically to daylight, for all trees and tree branches that are encroaching or are a threat to encroach from the sides of the right of way onto the travel ways on 9.44 shoulder miles of county roads. Bidders must provide valid proof of insurance meeting or exceeding requirements, a list of references for similar work (excluding the Owner), a list of equipment to be used, and proof of bonding capability for 100% of the submitted bid through a qualified surety company. Bidders must also provide a list of intended sub-contractors and perform at least 70% of the project with their own forces. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked, and delivered to the specified address. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, and accept bids in whole or in part. Bid bonds and performance/payment bonds are required, and sureties must meet specific qualifications. The completion timeline is six months from the Notice to Proceed.
