EDA Award No. 05-79-06188; URI 119175 The Projects are located at the Silver Lake Intake Pump Station approximately 14 miles west of Anaconda, MT and the Ramsay Pump Station approximately 8 miles west of Butte, MT. The Work at the Silver Lake Intake Pump Station consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, providing a Floating Intake Pump Station and Submersible Pump System including all components, appurtenances, and associated electrical/instrumentation systems required for a complete and operational system; installation of permanent discharge piping on the existing steel bridge/walkway and a tapped connection into the existing steel raw water main, electrical demolition and electrical improvements to the Silver Lake Intake Pump Station, and replacement of two (2) existing 250 HP centrifugal pump motors, including all required appurtenances. The Work at the Ramsay Pump Station consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, electrical demolition and electrical improvements for the Ramsay Pump Station, replacement of four (4) existing 350 HP centrifugal pump motors, and inspection and rehabilitation of the existing pumps, including the installation of a new automated vacuum priming system, including all required valves, piping, and appurtenances, replacement of existing motor controls for the two (2) 125 HP centrifugal pumps at the TFID Pump Station, and replacement of the sectional overhead door and all louvers. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or a Bid Bond payable to City-County of Butte-Silver Bow, in an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Successful BIDDER(s) shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and certificates of that insurance shall be provided. City-County of Butte-Silver Bow reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible Bid which is in the best interest of City-County of Butte-Silver Bow.
