Sealed bids are requested for the replacement of asphalt for projects located in Butte-Silver Bow. All bids must be accompanied by an amount not less than ten percent of the aggregate of the bid proposed, submitted in the form of lawful U.S. money, a cashier's check, certified check, bank money order or draft from a National Banking Association in Montana, or a bid bond from a surety authorized in Montana. These securities will be forfeited as liquidated damages if contract requirements are not entered into within fifteen days after award. Each bidder must have a business license prior to bid acceptance. Federal, local, or state taxes should not be included as Butte-Silver Bow is exempt. Montana Prevailing Wage rates apply. The successful bidder must comply with applicable Federal Regulations, including Equal Opportunity clauses and Federal Labor Standards. Construction Performance and Payment Bonds are required as security for faithful performance and payment of obligations. The City-County of Butte-Silver Bow reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate agreements based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed. Unless specifically noted, the Supplier shall provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment and other facilities and services necessary to supply items required by the Contract Documents.
