Supplying chemicals to be used in the Butte-Silver Bow Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Public Swimming Pool. Instructions to Bidders: - Sealed bids or proposals must be submitted prior to the specified deadline at the Office of the Clerk & Recorder, City-County of Butte-Silver Bow. - All bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid bond, which may be provided as lawful monies of the United States, a cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft issued by a national banking association located in Montana, or a bid bond executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in Montana. These securities will be forfeited as liquidated damages if contract requirements are not entered into within fifteen days after award. - Federal Excise Tax should not be included in the bids, as the City-County is exempt. - The successful bidder must comply with all applicable federal regulations and requirements, including Section 3 Clause, Equal Opportunity Clause, Executive Orders 11246 and 11624, Federal Labor Standards, and the Civil Rights Act. - The City-County of Butte-Silver Bow reserves the right to negotiate agreements based on fair and reasonable compensation, to reject any and all bids, and to accept the bid deemed in its best interest.
