Renovation of a medical facility in Stony Brook, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 240,000-square-foot, eight-story above grade medical facility.

The deadline to submit questions is related to this RFQ is Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 11:00 The project is to repair leaks at exterior walls of the Medical Research Translation (MART) which is an eight-story, approximately 240,000 GSF building. The exterior walls of the MART have been leaking since their installation was completed. An investigation has found that water infiltration leaks were attributed to sealants not adhering different materials, some sealants that were past their use by date and urethane and silicone sealants will not bond, sealant was not installed at the metal panel stack joints, flashings at the window framing were not sealed and window flashing and sealant were not installed per the construction documents.
