Landers Convention Center Expansion - Bid Package 05 - Building Construction. The project is for the construction of the Landers Convention Center Expansion - Bid Package 05 - Building Construction and the remaining related site work at 4560 Venture Drive, Southaven, MS 38671. Sealed bids are requested for this construction, and all related site work as specified. Bidders are required to submit a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid, payable to the Construction Manager, Montgomery Martin Contractors, LLC. Bidders must provide their bids in duplicate and include a flash drive containing the bid documents; this requirement applies to hand-delivered bids only. Bids must be irrevocable for 60 calendar days after submission. Bids must comply with Section 31-3-21 of the Mississippi Code, and any bid in excess of $50,000 must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985 and include a Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Contractors. The Prime Bidder's Certificate Number must be placed on the outside of the sealed envelope. Subcontractors requiring a Certificate of Responsibility must also be listed with their Certificate Number. Official bidding documents can be accessed online from the Desoto County Procurement Website or from Central Bidding. Electronic bids may be submitted through Central Bidding. Only complete sets of documents will be issued; partial sets are not allowed. Bidders should refer to Section 00 2113 - Instructions to Bidders and Section 00 3100 - Available Project Information for additional requirements. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and postpone final decision for up to 60 calendar days. Question Deadline 12/01/2025 No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents wil be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be sent in writing to the Construction Manager and address to the Architect for interpretation.
