For the demolition of two separate residential structures 1) located at 7105 Douglas Road, New Millport, PA 2) 514 Filbert Street, Curwensville, PA A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Redevelopment Authority of Clearfield County, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the contractor and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of each address total of the Quote, The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Quotes, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Quotes. The Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to award the contract as may be deemed in the best interest of the Owner. A. This project consists of the demolition and site clearance of blighted vacant residential structures of a foundation / wood frame house located at 7105 Douglas Road, New Millport, PA (see attached map). Work will also include placement and compaction of clean fill, topsoil and seeding. Owner will have utilities disconnected; however public sewer and water services will need be capped in accordance with the Curwensville Water and Sewer Municipal Authorities rules and regulations. Contractor is responsible to have utility caps inspected by proper Authority. B. The Contract work to be performed under these specifications consists of, but not limited to, the furnishing of all required labor, materials and equipment, needed for the demolition of the structure and removal of all materials and debris from the entire lot. All sewers and public water services are to be capped. C. Contractor to grade in and around the disturbed areas to meet the natural contour of adjacent areas and provide positive drainage away from the site and neighboring properties. D. Topsoiling, fine grading, seeding and mulching of the disturbed areas shall then take place in accordance with these Technical Specifications. E. Final acceptance of entire demolition and restoration work performed shall be to the absolute satisfaction of the Redevelopment Authority of Clearfield County. F. The Authority shall be notified at least two (2) days prior to the start of demolition activities.
