Renovation of a conference / convention center in Juneau, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 34,850-square-foot, one-story above grade conference / convention center.

Replacement of several mechanical systems related to the Centennial Hall Lobby Area including the HP-1 and HP-2 heating and ventilation systems. A new mechanical variable refrigerant flow (VRF) heat pump and energy recovery ventilation system will be installed to provide heated and cooled, mechanically ventilated air to the project area. Minor revisions to the roof will occur and a new roof drain will be installed to accommodate the installation of the new air source heat pump. The new equipment will be integrated with the existing BAS controls system. Sprinkler head replacement will occur in areas where ceilings are replaced, with minor sprinkler branch piping modifications to accommodate new equipment and duct locations. Work also includes the replacement of select areas of flooring, accessories, wall covering, replacement of existing light fixtures and installation of new lighting controls. Prospective Bidders are encouraged to attend a Pre-Bid conference of the proposed Work, which will be conducted by the Owner on site and by teleconference. Prospective Bidders intending to participate in-person or via teleconference are instructed to notify the provided contact email by a specified time to obtain location and/or call-in instructions.
