The completion date for this work is March 20, 2026. 1 Mobilization Price to bring personnel & necessary equipment on-site 1 Lump Sum 2 Permitting Licensing/permits/fees, & utility disconnects 1 Lump Sum 3 HBMS Hazardous Building Material Survey Report 1 Lump Sum 4 Remediation/Disposal Demo, removal, & dispose of all hazardous material 1 Time/Mat'l +15% 5Remediation Demo & removal, all structures & substructures 1 Lump Sum 6 Disposal Cost to dispose of all structures & substructures 1 Lump Sum 7 Traffic Control All necessary traffic control measures for work 1 Lump Sum 8 Final Site Work Backfill, grading, & demobilization 1 Lump Sum PROPERTY DEMOLITION - 8758 Haloff Way, Juneau, AK The primary objectives of this project: o The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the full demolition on-site, and site restoration of the property located at 8758 Haloff Way, legally described as; o Lot 5, RESUBDIVISION OF HALOFF SUBDIVISION, PLAT 76-52, within the Juneau Recording District, First Judicial District SCOPE OF CONTRACT WORK The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: 1. The on-site demolition/salvage (per Attachment A, Part 2.02) and lawful disposal of all above-ground and sub-surface structures, foundations, utilities, and debris in accordance with all applicable State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) standards. 2. Prior to demolition, the Contractor shall conduct, or higher a qualified individual to conduct a Hazardous Building Material Survey (HBMS) report to: identify, handle, and dispose of any hazardous materials or regulated waste in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Contractor shall supply a copy of the HBMS report to DOT&PF prior to commencement of demolition activities. 3. Traffic control measures, if required, shall be implemented and maintained in compliance with the Alaska Traffic Manual (ATM) and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) standards to ensure public safety. 4. Upon completion of demolition activities; the Contractor shall adequately fill and compact the remediated area(s) with suitable material(s). 5. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in a safe, environmentally compliant manner, including obtaining any necessary permits and coordinating with utility providers for service disconnections. 6. All work under this contract shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). DESCRIPTION OF WORK Unless directed otherwise in the Contract Documents, the Contractor shall: A. Remove and properly dispose of all structures, trash, rubbish, basement walls, floors, foundations, decks, steps, and driveway from the specified parcel with physical address: 8758 Haloff Way, Juneau, AK. B. Remove any fuel tanks, outdoor toilets and septic tanks, cisterns, meter pits, and plug or abandon wells. C. Remove the materials from the on-site demolition in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. D. Remove and dispose of appliances and other items that may contain refrigerants in accordance with 40 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 82. Appliances and other items that may contain refrigerants include, but are not limited to, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers and portable or central air conditioners. E. Remove and legally dispose of mercury-containing materials including fluorescent, highpressure sodium, mercury vapor, metal halide light bulbs, and thermostats containing a liquid filled capsule. PCB-containing materials include capacitors, ballasts, and transformers where the component is contained within a metal jacket and does not have a specific, legible label stating no PCBs are present. F. Disconnect all utility services before demolition. G. Perform site clearance, grading, and restoration. H. Complete the demolition work in accordance with the Statement of Services and these technical specifications and any special provisions included in the Contract Documents. I. In the event of conflicting requirements among federal, state, and local regulations, the most stringent applicable standard shall prevail.
