Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Juneau, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, in partnership with Fairbanks Area Surface Transportation (FAST) Planning, is seeking a qualified Consultant to conduct a corridor study along Geist Rd from the intersection of Geist and University Ave to the intersection of Geist and Chena Small Tracts. The study will evaluate adjacent land use, existing and future traffic demands at all intersections, transit, freight, and non-motorized needs. The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional services to provide professional engineering and support services to support the PS&E development of the subject project including civil, traffic, and utility engineering. Support services include project management, drafting, PS&E package development, environmental permitting and documentation, and public involvement.
