This Project consists of the WORK covered in the Contract Documents generally includes demolition of an existing and construction of a new municipal water pump station and pump building. The WORK includes demolition of the existing pump station, new building construction, new site work, backup generator, flow meters, valves, pump and motor replacement, mechanical piping, electrical, pressure sensors, lighting, variable frequency drives, instrumentation and controls for the project; and miscellaneous related WORK. Engineer's Estimate Range: Between $1,500,000 and $2,000,000. The WORK must be completed one year (365 days) from Notice to Proceed. Substantial Completion Six months from breaking ground, or 12 months from Notice to Proceed; whichever comes first. Final Completion Thirty (30) days from Substantial Completion. A Bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of Bidder's security is provided as prescribed in Section 00100, Article 12, at the time of bid. All contractors are required to have a current Alaska Contractor's License, prior to submitting a Bid, and a current Alaska Business License prior to award. The Bidder shall guarantee the Bid for a period of 120 Days from the date of Bid opening. Any component of the Bid including additive alternates may be awarded anytime during the 120 Days. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as it may best serve the interests of the OWNER. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
