The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network is soliciting bids for comprehensive asbestos abatement, lead paint removal, mold remediation, selective interior demolition, and room restoration services at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital in Hines, Illinois. Contractor should possess specialized qualifications including certified industrial hygienists, compliance expertise with OSHA, EPA, and VA asbestos regulations, and experience performing complex abatement work in active healthcare environments. The project involves seven distinct tasks spanning Buildings 1 and 200, with work to be completed within 290 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed, with individual task durations ranging from 15 to 120 calendar days. The pre-bid site visit is scheduled for October 7, 2025, with Request for Information responses due by November 7, 2025, and final bid submissions due December 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM CST Submit all questions regarding the solicitation, specifications, and/or drawings in writing to the Primary POC: Shalottina Cook Contract Specialist, no later than 10:00 AM local time on October 10, 2025.
