The project is expected to be awarded on April 2026** VIA Metropolitan Transit is seeking proposals from responsible firms for VIA RFP #26-306 Advanced Rapid Transit East-West Corridor Project - Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR). VIA provides public transportation services throughout Bexar County, including fixed route, paratransit, special event, and park and ride services, covering approximately 1,200 square miles. The scope centers around serving the community with regional multimodal transportation options. VIA emphasizes supplier diversity and seeks open competition to access creativity and innovation in the market, aiming for the best quality and service at minimum cost. Proposers are expected to support equal opportunities for all businesses and consider minority and small business contracting opportunities.
