Fox River Valley Public Library District, Kane County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for 06A-1 General Trades (including masonry, steel, rough carpentry, exterior siding panels, painting, and misc. plumbing), 07 A-1 Roofing, 08B-1 Aluminum, Glass, and Glazing, 23A-1 HVAC, and 26A-1 Electrical, work for the Dundee Library Building Improvements - Bid Release The proposed project consists of exterior enhancements to the library that includes new exterior finishes, sunshades, roofing, aluminum windows, and HVAC equipment. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS Prospective bidders should contact Kari Christensen at Lamp Incorporated (kchris tensen@lampinc.net or 847-741-7220 x315) to be placed on the bid list. All Contractors wishing to bid on this project must have a Lamp Incorporated Qualification State menton file, updated within the last year. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the Bid Form. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid amount, with sureties approved by the owner, and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10)days of the award of the contract. The successful bidder is required to pay Prevailing Wage for work under this Contract and shall submit certified payroll records in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Fox River Valley Public Library District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities. Contractors' qualification statements are due in Lamp Incorporated's office by 5:00 pm, Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
