Site work for a water / sewer project in East Dundee, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work is officially known as the 2026 Sanitary Sewer Televising and Cleaning Program. It consists of internal closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of approximately twenty-five (25) center line miles, or approximately 132,000 linear feet, of sanitary sewer pipe, including preparatory cleaning, potential heavy cleaning feet, disposal of debris, televising, traffic control, and completion and submittal of inspection logs. Instructions to bidders: Plans, specifications and bid forms may be obtained electronically from the Village of East Dundee by email request. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified or Cashier’s Check made payable to the Village of East Dundee for not less than five (5) percent of the bid amount. Proposals or bids without such bond or check will not be considered. Any addenda issued will be posted on the Village’s website on or before 5 days prior to the bid opening. It is the bidder’s responsibility to check the website for any issued addenda. The Village reserves the right to waive technicalities, accept or reject any or all bids, accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder without disclosure for any reason, and to award bids most advantageous to the Village. The selected contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations and executive orders, including those pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
