Furnish all labor and materials and perform all work for Window Shade Replacement at the Oneida County Law Library, 235 Elizabeth Street, Utica, New York 13501 (General Construction: Contract No. H2561401) and the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, 6075 Judd Road, Oriskany, New York 13424 (General Construction: Contract No. H2561501). Specifications and plans must be obtained from the Oneida County Purchasing Department. Bids must be submitted upon the proposal form(s) furnished in the Proposal Booklet and include a deposit of 5% of the base bid, as a bid bond or certified check payable to the County of Oneida. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in automatic disqualification. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond are not required for this project. Packages containing bids must be sealed, marked with the bid reference number and type of work, and addressed to the Oneida County Department of Purchasing. The County reserves the right to revise or amend the bidding documents by addenda, to waive any irregularity, and to reject any or all bids received. Compliance with Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law regarding prevailing wage rates is required. All laborers, workers, and mechanics working on the site on projects of at least $250,000 must have successfully completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course. The contract is subject to the County's Affirmative Action Policy regarding sealed bids and contracts, applying to all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the date set for the opening. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
