Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Marshfield, Vermont. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
The project involves demolishing the old bridge at Cassady Road, Bridge 22, and installing a new bridge with an 85-foot clear span, NEDBT precast superstructure on integral abutments supported by driven h-piles. Additional work includes rock armoring, roadway construction, removal of the temporary bridge, and associated tasks. The contractual time for substantial completion is 120 days, not including the time needed for structure procurement. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be eligible.
