Site work for a water / sewer project in Mattoon, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The extension of the current Clear Water Service Corporation (CWSC) water distribution system to connect to Cooks Mills existing water system. This will include the installation of approximately 53,000 linear feet of new water main. This work generally consists of furnishing and installation of 8 PVC RJ Yelomine HDD and 8 PVC SDR-21 Water Main along design route, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, connections, disconnections, and appurtenances for potable water. In addition, a system control upgrade is included to integrate the Cooks Mills system controls and operation. The work shall include all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and services necessary and required to perform the project as set forth in the Contract Documents. Provided the Contractor furnishes proof of proper insurance and bonding in a timely manner, it is anticipated that a Notice of Award of contract will be issued within 60 days of the date bids are opened and that a Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days of the date of the Notice of Award. Doc note: Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are required to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
