The extension of the current Clear Water Service Corporation (CWSC) water distribution system to connect to Cooks Mills existing water system. This will include the installation of approximately 53,000 linear feet of new water main. This work generally consists of furnishing and installation of 8 PVC RJ Yelomine HDD and 8 PVC SDR-21 Water Main along design route, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, connections, disconnections, and appurtenances for potable water. In addition, a system control upgrade is included to integrate the Cooks Mills system controls and operation. The work shall include all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment, and services necessary and required to perform the project as set forth in the Contract Documents. Provided the Contractor furnishes proof of proper insurance and bonding in a timely manner, it is anticipated that a Notice of Award of contract will be issued within 60 days of the date bids are opened and that a Notice to Proceed will be issued within 10 days of the date of the Notice of Award.
