Site work for a mixed-use development in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and one-story above grade road / highway.
The work consists of site construction for the development of a Multimodal Corridor along Rugh Street in Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. The scope includes building demolition, earthwork, roadway construction, curb and sidewalk installation, and all related items as identified in the construction documents. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and must register to receive bidding documents. The successful bidder will furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds, and insurance. All applicable state statutes and regulations must be followed, including equal employment opportunity and Section 3 requirements. Contractors must not be under suspension or debarment, must seek minority and women subcontractors, and maintain project records for seven years. Work is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities.
