Sealed proposals will be received online via PennBid until 10:00 A.M. January 21, 2026. Contract R035-26 covers the furnishing of 452 Tons of Liquid Chlorine, 150,000 Pounds of Sodium Permanganate, 2,055 Tons of Caustic Soda, 250 Tons of Liquid Linear Phosphate, 2,230 Tons of Polyaluminum Chloride, 25 Tons of Liquid Zinc Orthophosphate, 8,000 Gallons of Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5%, and 1,000 Gallons of Liquid Ammonium Sulfate 40%. Bidders shall submit questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents via the “Vendor Discussions” tab in Messages on PennBid. Vendors awarded contracts are assessed a variable award fee based on the expected value of the contract, with a minimum of $150 and a maximum of $6,000. The awarded vendor must provide MAWC with their vendor item numbers. Prices quoted shall be firm for the period of April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027. The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County reserves the right to waive any informality, to reject any bids or to accept any bid in its best interest. Question Deadline 01/19/2026 at 12:00 PM ET
