Site work for a water / sewer project in Russellville, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work for the construction of water main replacements for the Town of Littleville. The project consists of approximately 7,090 linear feet of potable water main (with sizes varying from 2" to 6"), 2,690 linear feet of water service tubing (with sizes varying from 3/4" to 2"), and connections to existing water infrastructure and related appurtenances in Colbert County, Alabama. All bidders must comply with various federal and state regulations, licensing, and labor requirements. Each bid must include security of at least 5% of the amount of the bid filed in the appropriate form. A list of similar projects successfully completed in the last 5 years must be submitted, and special documentation is required for nonresident contractors. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance and payment bonds or an irrevocable letter of credit acceptable to the owner, for the full contract price. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with required identifying information. The town reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and to award to the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder. Contractors must be licensed and in good standing in Alabama, and all work will be subject to various federal, state, and municipal regulations. ***As per Addendum 1, the due date and pre-bid meeting dates have been changed. Any additional information can be obtained directly from the architect's office.***
