Sealed bids will be received for the Emerson Senior Center ADA Door Improvements (CDBG) project at Emerson Borough Hall. Drawings, specifications, forms of bids, contract, and bond for the proposed work are available for examination and purchase. Bids must be made on the provided Standard Proposal Forms, enclosed in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name, address, and project name, and must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, a certified check or bid bond for at least ten percent of the bid amount (but not more than $20,000 and not less than $500), and a consent of surety for one hundred percent of the bid amount. Bidders must comply with state affirmative action requirements, business registration requirements, and ensure all tiers of subcontractors are also registered. The project is funded by the Bergen County Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), and Federal Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Bidders must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database, have a DUNS number, and satisfy relevant CDBG requirements. Bids shall be irrevocable for sixty days.
